About the Dr.

Dr. Dolores R. Kent was born in Washington, D.C. She received a B.A. in Biology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, then her Medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kent completed her internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Hospital in Southern California. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Surgeons. Dr. Kent has over 20 years of surgical experience, and is on staff at several local hospitals including Cedars Sinai Medical Center, St. John’s Medical Center and Olympia Medical Center.

Although initially trained in Obstetric and Gynecology, she has always been interested in Cosmetic Surgery. Several years ago she decided to follow this life-long interest. She studied liposuction, then proceeded on to incorporate the cosmetic application of a number of gynecologic procedures including laser vaginal rejeuvenation, labiaplasties, fat transfer techniques to the labia and buttock. While developing these skills she continued to fine tune her skills in laparoscopic surgery, and well as other advanced surgical techniques. She brings to this specialty her years of surgical expertise as well as her extraordinary gifted skills as an artist. Dr. Kent’s interest in the human figure – both male and female, brings this unique artistic perspective to her work as a liposculpturist, designer vaginas, sculpting buttocks, as well as the refined use of botox and restylane.

In her practice as both a gynecological and cosmetic surgeon, she uses the latest surgical techniques, including laser, laparoscopy, micro cannulas, the tumescent techniques, ultrasound – surgical and non-surgical, among others.

Dr. Kent is a member and past secretary of the L.A. County Women’s Medical Association, Association of Black Women Physicians, Drew Medical Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Academy of Liposculpture Surgeons. She has received numerous awards including the Sandoz Award for Academic Excellence, Who’s Who Among Black Women of California, Community Service Award for Medical Director of Westside Women’s Clinic among others. She has spoken on a variety of television and radio shows on many topics, and has been interviewed by several magazines and newspapers on topics such as liposculpture and cosmetic surgery and women’s health - her opinions are often solicited from her colleagues as well as the media. Dr. Kent prides herself on being ethical, honest, knowledgeable, and highly qualified to give you the best care available with excellent cosmetic outcomes.
