We offer our cosmetic services to men as well as women. All of our procedures are either performed in office or in a state of the art outpatient surgical center with a team of health care professionals specifically trained in cosmetic procedures to ensure that the best results will be achieved and all of your needs will be met.

As a person ages their skin begins to lose its natural elasticity, resulting in unbecoming wrinkling, sagging and depressions, lines and folds. Sometimes factors such as genetic predisposition, injuries or sun damage can accelerate the appearance of these lines, which, over time have a tendency to become more accentuated and detract from the youthful appearance of the face. Some people simply have inherited noticeable lines which they feel uncomfortable with. Collagen injections, made of highly purified bovine collagen, can be injected into these areas to supplement your own body's collagen and has the capacity to fill in these lines to produce a smoother, more pleasing contour. This procedure can take years off in just a few minutes, or make you appear less stressed by eliminating or softening the folds.

Collagen works by lending additional support to the collagen which naturally lies under or within your skin. The injectable collagen in placed with a very fine needle into the skin where your own collagen support has weakened and thereby elevates these areas to produce a smoother, more even tone and texture.

The patient must be tested with a small sample of the collagen first to ensure that no allergic reactions will occur. You must wait 4 to 6 weeks after the test dose before the actual collagen injections can begin. Most patients will not have any reaction to the collagen.

Newer formulas are now being formulated which may not require testing and may last longer. The Bovine collagen lasts about 3 months, but there is some evidence that continued use without interruption may result in some permanent changes in your skin which would require less frequent treatments.

Small deposits of the collagen are injected into the areas of concern with a tiny needle. The injections are slightly uncomfortable, but most patents tolerate the injections well. A small amount of topical anesthetic can be used prior to the treatments to decrease discomfort. The procedure may take a few minutes to an hour depending on how many areas are to be treated or how severe the problem is.

Popular areas to be treated are lines around the mouth and nose, frown and smile lines, and lines above and below the lips.

Thin lips can be enhanced by injecting collagen along the border.

Liposculpture is the suction of fat away from fatty deposits in certain areas of the body by the use of a vacuum procedure; done in such a way that not only is there reduced fat, but bodily contours are restored or even created where they never existed before. It is designed to create a smooth and pleasing contour. The procedure is done with micro-cannulas through very tiny incisions so that delicate contours can be created with minimal tissue trauma and predictably smooth results. We use the tumescent technique where the fat is first injected with a liquid solution which helps to remove the fat quickly and safely with minimal bleeding and discomfort. The procedure is done on an outpatient basis, but may take one to several hours to perform depending on the amount of fat removed.

This is an excellent adjunct for patients who are dieting and not seeing results quickly enough, or have areas which simply seem not to respond to the diet. It also may be the perfect solution to patients who intend to diet but need a jump-start to get them motivated. You may simply just want your clothes to fit better.

Men as well as women benefit from this procedure which is most often performed on love handles, breasts, abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, knees and chins.

Botox is botulinum toxin, a product which blocks nerve transmission to skeletal muscle and thus produces a temporary paralysis to the designated muscle. To date this product has been found to be extremely safe and is even being used for a variety of illnesses including migraine headaches, depression, neurological diseases, bladder problems, excessive sweating and others. The most common usage is for facial muscles which are creating unsightly lines which may make a person appear older. The product works by preventing the person from making those lines, thereby giving the person a more youthful appearance, less angry, less sad. With aging, the muscles tend to sag. Some believe the repair of the underlying collagen takes place while the muscle is deactivated thereby allowing less formation of the lines over time. Many consider this procedure a part of the “lunchtime facelift”. Patients are generally thrilled with the results achieved with this product.

Restylane was the first non-animal based cosmetic dermal filler to be used in the United States. It is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance found in the human body. One of the advantages of Restylane, is that the patient does not need to be skin tested prior to use. Restylane has found many uses, in various areas of the body but is especially effective on the face. Wrinkles around the nose (nasolabial fold) and mouth (peri-oral) are particularly responsive to Restylane fillers, but Restylane can be used to improve defects in other areas. The lines between the eyebrows, and depressions under the eyes also respond to Restylane . One of the great uses of Restylane and similar products is the enhancement of the lips and lip outline. Facial aesthetics are greatly improved by adding body to the lip line. Restylane, as opposed to collagen fillers, lasts 4 to 6 months.

A procedure designed to reduce the size of and/or reshape the labia minora – or “lips” – of the vagina, or the labia majora – the larger part just outside of the lips. Some women feel that the lips of their vagina are too large, uneven, poorly shaped, protrude, thinned out or unsightly. This can be a cause for embarrassment and concern, or simply an annoyance during sex. You may feel uncomfortable wearing today’s tight styles because your labia are enlarged. We can also transfer fat to this area for women who feel their labia have lost their shape or youthful appearance. Women are extremely pleased with the results of this repair.

This procedure enhances the "G" spot. The "G" spot is the area in the vagina found by researchers to be the area which is most instrumental in initiating and heightening vaginal orgasms in women. This area is very sensitive to touch and stimulation. The procedure is designed to enhance the sensitivity of this area, thereby significantly magnifying and intensifying the pleasurable excitement associated with orgasm. It involves an injection into the "G" spot. This is an in-office procedure administered under local anesthesia which takes about fifteen minutes. There is no surgery involved.

Laser Vaginal Rejeuvenation is a procedure designed to tighten and enhance the appearance of the vaginal introitus, or opening, as well as replacing the vaginal musculature back into a more anatomical position, which results in tightening of the vaginal muscles as well. The procedure is appropriate for women who feel their vaginas are too loose or enlarged, unsightly, or simply desire to feel tighter in that area. This procedure often leads to enhanced sexual pleasure because the muscles are tighter thereby giving the woman more sensation in the vaginal area during sex. We usually use the laser during this procedure because it allows me to fine tune the incisions and leads to less tissue damage than the traditional cautery instrument. This will lead to accelerated healing.

During this procedure we can also elevate the bladder or perform bladder neck elevations to eliminate the symptoms of Stress Urinary Incontinence and tighten the relaxed muscles around the rectum. Stress Urinary Incontinence is a problem affecting millions of women. It often occurs as women become older or after childbearing. Women will lose urine when coughing or straining. The vaginal procedure can restore the bladder control that these women have lost. This procedure is also appropriate for women who feel a lot of pressure in the vaginal area, have trouble having bowel movements because of relaxation of the muscles surrounding the rectum. The vaginal opening and the vagina are smaller and tighter after the procedure, enhancing support, sensitivity, and tone. This is performed as an outpatient procedure and the patients are able to go home the same day.

Autologous Fat Transfer is the transfer of a person's own fat into their buttocks, or other areas where there is a defect in the fatty layer under the skin. The fat is harvested by liposuction, then specially prepared and injected into the desired areas. Many areas are appropriate for this technique such as the nasolabial folds (the lines beside the nose), lips, buttocks, scars, and other body defects.

This popular procedure involves the transfer of Autologous Fat (a person's own fat) into the buttocks to give a pleasing rounded buttock. Many women suffer from poor self images due to the lack of a well proportioned figure. Liposuction and autologous fat transfer into the buttock can give a woman the confidence she needs to feel good about her body. Especially for women of Caucasian or Asian background who often have a lack of shape in this area, this technique can give them a shapely butt that they could not achieve through exercise; however we see women of all ethnic backgrounds who desire a more ideal contour. The fat is removed from another area of the body by liposuction, specially prepared, then injected into the appropriate areas of the buttock to achieve the most complimentary shape, or we will let our patient tell us what she wants.
